Chemical Weed Control in Vegetables

1) Potato:

Fluchloralin @ 1.0 kg a.i /ha or EPTC @ 1 to 2 kg a. i /ha as preplant soil incorporation.

Or

Alachlor or Metribuzin @ 1 kg a.i /ha or Pendimethalin @ 1.5 kg a .i /ha as pre emergence spray.

2) Tomato:

Alachlor @ 1 to 1.25 kg a.i /ha.

Or

Fluchloralin @ 1.25 kg a .i /ha.

Or

Metribuzin @ 0.35 to 0.5 kg a. i as pre trans plant surface application.

3) Cabbage, Cauliflower, Onion and Garlic:

Fluchloralin or Pendimethalin @ 1 to 1.5 kg a. i /ha as pre transplant surface application and in garlic as pre plant surface application or soil incorporation.

Or Alachlor @ 1.5 to 2 kg a .i or Alachlor @ 1 to 2 kg a.i /ha as preemergence spray.
