Preliminary Operation in Fruit Production Site

After selecting a suitable site the first step should be clean the land of all vegetation including shrubs, bushes and standing local trees. After this, the land should be ploughed deep both ways and leveling, may be taken up, if the land is undulating. Its leveling may involve shifting of major soil layers. In such cases the land may be divided into two or more Rees- passers. it selection and then it should be leveled selection wise. To improve the physical and chemical condition of the soil a green manuring crop should be grown and burned by ploughing operation before it commence flowering.
