The Important Fruit Zones of M.S. are as Follows:
Warm Coastal Region Rain fall 80" to 200" with humid climate
Ratnagiri, Kolaba, Thana, Sindhudurg.
Western Deccan region partly dry and humid with 30 to 50" rainfall.
Parts of Kolhapur, Nasik, Satara, Sangli and Poona.
Mango, Banana, Chiku, Limes, Guava, Jack fruits.
Eastern Deccan fairly dry and hot with 15 to 25" rainfall
Mosambi, Limes, Grapes, Papaya Banana, Guava, Pomogranate, Fig, Phalsa
Western Vidarbha and Eastern Marathwada. Fairly hot with 20" – 30" rainfall during monsoon.
Buldhana, Akola, parts of Yeotmal, Parbhani, Nanded, Hingoli, Washim, parts of East Khandesh and Aurangabad
Mango Banana, Grape, Mosambi, Santra, Fig. Custard apple, Guava and Phalsa.
North East Region of Vidarbha. Hot and dry with partly humid region, with 30" – 40" rainfall
Amravati, Wardha, Nagpur, Chanda, Bhandara, parts of Akola
