Preparation of Land for Cultivation of Chilli
1. Land is ploughed 20 to 22 cm deep after the harvest of previous crop.
2. Clods are crushed with main or clod crusher.
3. 15 to 20 tons of FYM is added per hectare.
4. FYM is well mixed into soil by giving 2 to 3 harrowing.
5. Finally either flat beds or ridge and furrow beds are prepared.
