Preparation of Weed Album

Take a well dried individual weed sample and keep it on a separate herbarium sheet. Stick all the parts of the weed properly on the herbarium sheet with the help of pieces of tixo paper tap. In this way, all the weeds are preserved on a separate sheet.

Information to be Written on Herbarium Sheet

1) Botanical name of the weed sample
2) Local name of weed
3) Season
4) Crops in which the weed is associated
5) Control measures adopted

Above information should be written on the weed album sheet below respective weed specimen at right hand corner of the sheet.

In this way the weed album of important field, waste land, and aquatic weeds in prepared.
